Al Jazeera TV & The Art of Military Analysis

I have no prior academic experience in visual media, but I have been an avid follower of news and political programs since childhood—a habit I inherited from my late father. I have a deep passion for media in general and enjoy watching and listening to all channels, regardless of whether I agree with their policies or not. My goal is to form a complete and clear picture of the events unfolding around us.

Setting aside the biases of certain media outlets and the concept of directed journalism, in the midst of the ongoing war, the military analysis presented by Al Jazeera, featuring General Fayez Al-Duwairi and Brigadier General Elias Hanna, is truly profound. The differences in their perspectives and the discussions they engage in as military analysts provide a broader and deeper understanding of the battle, its intricacies, and developments on the ground.

Beyond the well-known anchors like Jamal Rayyan and Mohamed Krichen, it’s evident that despite pre-prepared questions for presenters, there is a significant difference in professionalism between male hosts like Zein Al-Abidine, Abdelkader Ayyad, and Jalal Chahda, compared to female presenters like Mayyada Abdo, Ghinwa Ibrahim, and Laila Sheikhli, who struggle when presenting military analyses.
